Admissions

The first call is the hardest.
We make it easy.

No intake forms to fill out before you talk to someone. No gatekeeping. Just an honest conversation about whether Cove76 is the right fit.

How It Works

Four steps. One goal.

The process is designed to be simple and human, because you've been through enough complexity already.

Reach Out

Call, text, or fill out the contact form. Joe or a team member responds, usually within a few hours, always within 24.

The Fit Call

A confidential 20–30 minute conversation to understand the situation, history, needs, readiness, and whether Cove76 is the right environment right now.

Virtual or In-Person Visit

If the fit call goes well, we can arrange a virtual tour or, when appropriate, an in-person visit so the prospective resident and family can see the home.

Move-In Planning

We coordinate move-in dates, set up communication agreements with the family, review house rules together, and make sure everyone starts on the same page.

Is It a Fit?

Cove76 is a strong match when…

Good candidates for Cove76 ✓

Medically stable

Detox is complete, or being managed under a doctor's supervision. Cove76 is not the right place to detox.

Willing to engage

Not necessarily enthusiastic, but willing to show up, follow expectations, and give the process a real chance.

Ready for structure

Capable of living within house expectations, curfews, meetings, employment, accountability check-ins.

Open to Jewish rhythm

Does not need to be strictly observant, but must be willing to live in a Shabbos-observant, kosher household.

Prepared to work or study

Employment or education is an expectation, not eventually, but as soon as reasonably possible after placement.

Not the right fit right now ✗

We say "right now" intentionally, these situations often change, and we may be the right fit later.

  • Requires acute medical supervision or detox
  • Active psychiatric crisis or suicidal ideation requiring clinical intervention
  • Unwilling to follow any house rules or engage with the program
  • History of violence that would endanger other residents

We're always happy to suggest other resources when Cove76 isn't the right match.

FAQs

Questions families ask most.

There's no single answer. Minimum commitment is 90 days, but most residents who thrive here stay 6–12 months or longer. Length of stay is discussed during the fit call based on individual circumstances.
The house is fully kosher and Shabbos-observant. Residents are expected to respect that standard, not bring non-kosher food into the home, not drive on Shabbos without permission, and participate in Shabbos meals. Personal religious observance beyond that is each person's journey.
Absolutely, and we strongly encourage it. We work alongside existing clinical teams, not instead of them. Transportation to appointments is something we actively support.
Relapse is addressed seriously but not punitively. Our response depends on the severity, the individual's history, and their willingness to engage immediately. In some cases, a higher level of care is required before returning. We always prioritize the safety of all residents in the home.
Family visits are encouraged, within the framework that works best for the resident's recovery. We establish visit agreements during the intake process so everyone knows what to expect.
We take confidentiality seriously. We follow applicable privacy standards and establish clear agreements about what information is shared with family. Your inquiry, and everything shared on the fit call, is completely private.
Yes. Families call before the person is ready all the time. It helps to have a relationship with us before the moment of crisis, and we can offer guidance on how to get to readiness. There's no pressure, no commitment, and no wrong time to reach out.
